Spec Script Sale: "Agent OX"

Sony Pictures buys action sci-fi spec "Agent Ox" from writer Daniel Kunka. From Deadline:

    A vigorous spec auction ended late Friday night with Sony Pictures paying mid six figures for Agent OX, a Daniel Kunka script about a human spy on an alien planet.

Kunka is repped by ICM.

By my count, that is the 16th spec script to sell in 2010.

The 16th spec script didn't sell in 2010 until April 20th, so sales are up year-to-date.

Note: This is the 5th spec script to sell this week and 7th to sell in March.
