Just finished Aaron Sorkin's HBO Pilot. My god, if every script was this good.
It didn't grab me in the beginning like his work usually does but I stuck with it. Half-way through I was enamored by it and couldn't finish. With one page to go I was ready to break down and probably would have he would have added another sappy line.
I hope this gets made, I know I'll be there to watch it.
I'm confused. "... couldn't finish it...", "...and probably would have he would have added another sappy line."
Did you mean to say 'snappy'? Sappy sounds perjorative.
So this was so good it was painful to read, or it was good
despite being sappy?
sap·py
(sap-ee)
–adjective, -pi·er, -pi·est.
1.abounding in sap, as a plant.
2.full of vitality and energy.
3.Slang . silly or foolish.
I'm guessing you intended meaning 2. Aussies like me would assume 3.
