Twentieth Century Fox buys adventure comedy spec "Scavengers" from writer Chris Baldi. Per Deadline:

    After their adventurous father dies, three brothers who've been estranged discover that in order to collect their inheritance, they will have to go out on a scavenger hunt to find treasure he left behind. Clues bring them back to many of the childhood experiences they shared with their father.

Baldi is repped by ROAR Entertainment.

By my count, this is the 13th spec script to sell in 2011.

Last year, the 13th spec script didn't sell until April 5th, so sales are up year-to-date.

Also called "Brotherhood of the Scavengers" according to the March 20th script that was sold.
