Spec Script Sale: "Good Time Gang"

RCR Pictures has optioned action comedy spec "Good Time Gang" from writer Max Landis. Per Variety:

    Described as a cross between "The Bourne Identity" and "Jackass," "Good Time Gang" is an action-comedy about two hard-partying mercenaries forced by the CIA to catch a mercenary-turned-terrorist who turns out to be the father of one of the leads.

Note: This deal happened on February 8, 2011.

Landis is repped by WME and Circle of Confusion.

By my count this is the 15th spec script to sell in 2011.

The 15th script didn't sell in 2010 until April 14, so sales up year-to-date.
