Universal buys spec action comedy "Bait and Switch" from writer Matthew J. O'Neill. The plot is being kept under wraps, but Variety says it is a Mark Wahlberg vehicle.

O'Neill is repped by Innovative Artists and John Jacobs.

By my count, this is the 24th spec script to sell in 2011.

The 24th spec didn't sell last year until June 4th, so sales are up year-to-date.
