Producer Wendy Finerman acquires spec comedy-drama "Into the Beautiful from writer Anne Meredith:

    A group of college friends reunite at a cabin to visit with a cancer-striken friend before he commits suicide.

Meredith is repped by WME and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Sale date: 4/4/11.

This is the 32nd spec script to sell in 2011.

The 32nd spec script didn't sell in 2010 until August 5, so sales are up significantly year-to-date.
